had 2 and a half feet of upper and lower intenstines removed in surgery. The cancer spread to 8 lymph nodes and I now have to have chemo treatments. How many treatments are necessary and I know it is not curable but treatable. | |

I don't know!! But when you find out I'd like to know also. My mother is to start chemo next week and she had 15 lymp noids taken out and 4 were cancerous and 2 ft. of bowel which had a mass that was cancer. The told her 2 days of Chemo and 12 days off for the next 6 months and then at about the 1/2 point they will send her for a another PET scan to see how things are going.
