Breast Cancer

When it is believed that cancer is hereditary, it is not yet exactly known, what in some people induces the development of cancer. Some mutations of cancer develop with the disease itself and are not hereditary.

Breast cancer is also one of the most widespread types of cancer and it mostly occurs in women.

Breast tissue consists of several different cells – the ducts, lobules and other cells. The type of cancer is determined by the location of the cancer cells. In case of cancer, the cells spread to other places in your body whereas in benign breast lumps, the growing of cells remains local and can be treated or removed. However, some women, who have certain types of breast lumps are at higher risk of developing breast cancer.

The risk of getting cancer may be considerably reduced by changing your lifestyle – we all know that smoking and consuming alcohol are the main factors in inducing several diseases, also, you should exercise regularly. These are the common recommendations by the doctors, which help you avoid many other diseases as well as cancer. In case of breast cancer breast-feeding is also a way of avoiding the development of cancer.

When you have discovered changes or lumps in your breasts, you should immediately see the doctor.
